Exhibiting for the first time at the Print Ireland exhibition will be the
National Print Museum.

The Museum will be exhibiting a printing press and some metal type where visitors can set their name in the old way and print their own commemorative piece from the show. Handmade paper will be used in the process and it will be either an A4 poster or an A5 flyer.

Playing on the stand's 40' Plasma screen will be a video on printing from the Museum on a loop.  Further information about the activities and events in the Museum will also be on display, as well as some items of interest (books, letterpress printed items etc) that visitors may be interested in purchasing.  In addition, the museum will have other items from the collection such as wooden type, images, woodcuts etc.

Visual graphics around the stand will give visitors the impression that they are standing in the Museum, complimented by some of the museum's staff being dressed in period costume that represents fashion styles from around the time of Gutenberg.
